Walk in and be seen within 15 minutes or less, whether you need treatment for your anxiety or other condition. Our Hollywood PDX neighborhood location will provide you with the same care for your non-life-threatening illness or anxiety that you'd receive at an emergency room, but you'll be seen faster.

Lab work, EKGs, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures are available seven days a week so we can diagnose and treat a variety of injuries and illnesses. Auto injuries, workers comp services, and treatment for allergies are just a few of the things we treat. You can schedule an appointment online any time of day.

Anxiety: Frequently Asked Questions

Can you go to urgent care for anxiety?  

Yes.  First, are you sure it is anxiety?  An urgent care can evaluate you for medical conditions that mimic anxiety.  If it is anxiety, how severe?  Are you considering suicide and need to be hospitalized?  An urgent care can help with medications for the short-term, but may give you a referral for additional care if deemed appropriate.

When should I see a doctor about anxiety and stress?

It is time to get help from a professional when anxiety and stress:

  1. Interferes with your personal or professional relationships
  2. Causes ongoing sleep problems

What does an anxiety attack feel like?

Anxiety attack is a non-medical term for anxiety that flares up and becomes intense.  It is similar to but milder than a  “Panic Attack” which are very intense and happen without a cause.  The main difference is that anxiety has a known cause, where a Panic Attack happens for no obvious reason.

How long does an anxiety attack last?  

Anxiety can last a long time and can wax and wane.  It can build until it is severe, termed an anxiety attack.  A panic attack does not have a know trigger and usually resolves within about a half hour.

Can urgent care prescribe medication for anxiety?

Yes.  They will often prescribe only a short course and give you a referral to a specialist who you can see on an on-going basis.
